 UK has interrupted its funding in security management sector for Ethiopian government. the
fund was meant to give training to Ethiopian security personnel. 
various human right activist groups were lobbying for UK to freeze this program. 
The activists were accusing the Ethiopian government for the alleged forced resettlement of communities in connection with huge government projects and they specially been stressing the matter after the extradition of Andargachew Tsige.
the program had a 70 millions pound budget. the budget freezing has been confirmed by Ethiopian gov't.  

Managing editor of Maraki magazine Milion Shurbe passed away in Kenya this morning. he was one of a dozen of journalists forced into exile a few weeks ago after they were charged with fictitious 'terrorism' offenses.

Oct 3, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — An insider, from within the inner circle of South Sudan security organ, alleged that he, in a team supervised by Akol Koor, the Director of Internal Security Bureau, met Gen. Thokwaath Pal, the leader of the rebel group, Ethiopian Unity Patriotic Front (EUPF), in mid September 2014.

The insider alleged that the main objective of the meeting was to seal a new deal that would strengthen the Ethiopian rebels groups to destabilize the SPLA rebels’ main military training centers in Maiwut and Pagak at the eastern corridor of South Sudan – Ethiopia border.

According to the insider, Gen.Thokwaath has been tasked to establish links with other rebel groups within Ethiopia to form a coalition that will fight for a regime change and destabilize South Sudan Peace Process in Bahir Dar.

According to the insider, director Akol Koor has issued One Million ($1,000,000) US Dollar to the Ethiopian Rebel groups to equip and set up their operation centers at South Sudan-Ethiopian border.

The intelligence alleged that Juba has promised Gen. Thokwaath a sufficient financial and military supports. He said that military garrisons will be set up at the border to detach any military support from Ethiopian government to South Sudan rebels.

Gen. Thokwaath is also expected to cut off any supply routs and recruitment from Gambela Refugees camps in Ethiopia to South Sudan. This would allegedly benefits the regime as it is expected to lure the Eastern Jikany to support South Sudan government.

South Sudan government delegation, according to Michael Makuei Lueth’s interview on BBC focus on Africa, has lost truth in TROIKA, Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Ambassador, Seyoum Mesfin, who leads South Sudan Peace Talks. Hon Makuei recently calls on IGAD to relocate the peace process to Kenya and change the chief mediator.

According to Michael Makuei Lueth, Ethiopia and TROIKA partners support regime change in South Sudan. Mr. Lueth fears that unless the mediation is relocated to Kenya and led by the Kenyan Envoy, General Lazarus Sumbeiyo, the peace process may never yield an agreement.

Salva Kiir government allied with Ugandan and Sudanese rebels against the insurgents in Greater Upper Nile region. Four rebels’ factions that are fighting for regime change in Sudan joined South Sudan civil war in December 2013.

The Government of South Sudan signed military cooperation with Egypt amid allegations that Ethiopia support SPLA rebels, under the former vice president, Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

The agreement has allegedly given Egypt a green light to set up a military base in South Sudan, a move that is expected to throw off Ethiopia’s mega project, the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Ginbot 7, Movement for Justice, Freedom and Democracy is deeply saddened and outraged by the recent leaked video of barbaric killings of civilians suspected of supporting the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF). Anyone with a conscience should be disturbed by the brutal scenes and sounds of hundreds of civilians whom the regime’s security forces have raped, tortured and killed.

Once again this video is a stark reminder to all Ethiopians, irrespective of their ethnic background and religious affiliation, that Ethiopia is ruled by a savage, blood-thirsty regime carrying out a reign of terror in all parts of Ethiopia.

There are no words of condolence that can adequately convey our sorrow, our sympathy for the victims and their families. The unfathomable brutality of the Tigrai People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) security forces dragging the dead corpses of alleged ONLF supporters in an act of coward savagery is an insult to the moral values of the Ethiopian people, and humanity in general

We affirm our just revulsion over these heinous crimes and call on those responsible for such a heinous crime to be held accountable.

There is no question that in the last 23 years the brutal TPLF regime has committed thousands of grave human rights violations against civilians in the Ogaden region and other parts of Ethiopia. Many of its most gruesome acts constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The TPLF brutal and merciless regime has stubbornly continued its unabated threats to annihilate any group that does not embrace its bankrupt ideology of ethnic politics which it zealously promotes to stay in power.

The people of Ethiopia want to live together in peace with their rights, dignity and freedom protected and respected like the rest of humanity.  More than ever, it is high time and in their long term interest in the region for Western democratic nations that support the TPLF by financing, arming and training its security forces to take a very hard look at the moral and political hazards of forming an alliance with a barbaric regime that engages in wanton violence (mass executions, torture, war crimes, ethnic cleansing) against its perceived political enemies.

Donor countries need to stop burying their head in the sand and acknowledge the basic fact that the TPLF regime is a threat to the people of Ethiopia and the stability of the Horn of Africa. Where there is no justice, there will never be peace.

Let it be clear to all concerned that the status quo in Ethiopia is not sustainable. The Ethiopian people will prevail over the inhumane and brutal dictatorship of the fascist minority dictatorship of the TPLF.

ህዝብን ለአመፅ በማነሳሳት ፤ ሀሰተኛ ወሬዎችን አሳትሞ በማሰራጨትና ህገ መንግስታዊ ስርዓቱን በሀይል ለመናድ ሲንቀሳቀሱ ነበሩ በሚል ክስ የቀረበባቸው ሶስት መፅሔቶች እና የድርጅቶች ስራ አስኪያጆች ጥፋተኛ ተባሉ ።

ጥፋተኛ የተባሉት አዲስ ጉዳይ መፅሔት እና የመፅሔቱ ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ እንዳልካቸው ተስፋዬ፣ ሎሚ መፅሔትና የመፅሔቱ ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ግዛው ታዬ፣ ፋክት መፅሔትና ስራ አስኪያጅዋ ፋጡማ ኑሪያ ናቸው።

ቀደም ሲል የመፅሄቶቹ ስራ አስኪያጆችን ፖሊስ በአድራሻዎቻቸው አፈላልጎ ሊያገኛቸው እንዳልቻለ በመግለፅ፣ ተከሳሾች በአዲስ ዘመን ጋዜጣ ጥሪ ማድረጉንና በዚህም ጥሪ መሰረት ባለመቅረባቸው ባቀረብኩት ማስረጃ መሰረት ብይን ይሰጥልኝ ሲል አቃቤህግ መጠየቁ ይታወሳል።

የፌደራሉ ከፍተኛ ፍርድ ቤት 16ኛ ወንጀል ችሎትም ዛሬ የአቃቤህግን ማስረጃዎች በመርመር ነው ሶስቱ መፅሄቶችና ስራ አስኪያጆቻቸው ጥፋተኛ ናቸው ሲል ብይን የሰጠው።

በዚህም መሰረት የጥፋተኝነት ውሳኔ ለማስተላለፍ መስከረም 27፣2007 ዓ.ም ተለዋጭ ቀጠሮ ሰጥቷል።
